Thermal monitoring and control systems

IoT, Mobile App

Creation of monitoring and control systems for temperature control devices. The project included the creation of a web app for monitoring and data analysis and a mobile app (Android / iOS) for remote control of the systems.

Telecommunications

Microservices, User Experience

Project finalized to reconciling data with very heterogeneous formats. The main goal of the system have been to simplify user interaction in order to support him in the difficult and delicate task of manipulating data flows.

The project involved the use of Spring, Docker, Angular8, Groovy

SensMat

IoT, Cloud, Serverless, Firmware

EU-funded project finalized to monitoring artistic artifacts in the museum. The project involves 18 European partners and 7 countries. Our role within the project is to create the software, native cloud, necessary to collect data from sensors through the API OGC SensorThings standard and combine them with those of the BIM models. The purpose of the software is therefore the processing of data in order to build indicators capable of helping museums in the task of preventive conservation of the artefacts.

Industry

IoT, Cloud, Serverless, Firmware

Project finalized to making industrial scale "smart". The project provided the construction of a device able to interfacing with the weighing electronics and providing environmental measurements (temperature, humidity, acceleration, ecc). The data acquired by the device were processed locally and sent to the cloud where they could be used by users via the web interface.

The project involved the use of numerous technologies to be able to create firmware, embedded software, cloud software and graphical interfaces. This project is also native to the cloud and is implemented with serverless technologies.

Medicale

Big Data, Data Analytics, Microservizi

Project finalized to monitoring data from sensors in the medical health sector. The main difficulties concerned the query and download engine which had to take into account particular data transformation rules.

The project involved the use of Big Data technologies (HBase, Spark, AWS, Angular)

PowerIoT

Energy and data Management

PowerIOT is a web application that allows you to acquire data from heterogeneous sources adapting them to a common model, also allowing you to provide feedback in the field. PowerIOT is designed for horizontal scalability according to the load and to be installed in the cloud or in premise. With PowerIOT it's possible to analyze data and build KPI.

Telecommunication

Big Data

Project finalized to monitoring the mobile network for one of the main Italian mobile telephony operators. The main challenges of the project concerned the acquisition of large quantities of data and their manipulation in order to provide a flexible and almost real-time interrogation system through a web interface.

The project involved the use of Big Data technologies (HBase, HDFS, Spark, Kafka, Solr, Parquet)

Logistics

Mobile App

Project finalized to creating a mobile app for organizing travel for pharmaceutical couriers.

The project involved the use of Flutter

Home BIM App

Funded Project, IoT, Cloud, Serverless, BIM

Project Funded by the Lombardy Region aimed to monitoring buildings modeled using BIM technology in order to provide information relating to Comfort.
This native cloud project has seen the use of serverless technologies for building services and deploying on Azure. Within the same project, 3D visualization problems and integration with Autodesk Forge cloud services have been solved

Furniture

IoT, Cloud, Serverless, Firmware

Project finalized to making a motorized desk in the furniture sector"smart". The project involved the construction of a device able to interfacing with the electronics of the desk and providing environmental measurements (temperatura, humidity, acceleration, ecc) and the presence. The data acquired by the device were processed locally and sent to the cloud where they could be used by users through the web interface. Moreover, the desk can recognize users and configure height and other functions.

The project involved the use of numerous technologies to be able to create firmware, embedded software, cloud software and graphical interfaces. This project is also native to the cloud and is implemented with serverless technologies.

ICT4Green Fashion

Funded Project, IoT, Microservizi

Project Funded by the Lombardy Region in industry 4.0 aimed at energy monitoring.

SAC per il contatore elettronico del gas

Energy and data Management

Creation of a central acquisition system (SAC) for reading electronic gas meters, load lists, load curves, modification of operating parameters, remote loading of firmware, battery level, detection of operating registers and more generally of all the parameters necessary for monitoring and controlling gas meters.

S.C.U.O.L.A. Project

Smart City

As part of a project co-financed by the Lombardy Region with the A2A leader, development of the EMS software platform - Energy Management System for the monitoring and energy control of smart grids on the campus of the Milan Polytechnic and the University of Brescia. In particular, interfacing with photovoltaic systems, self-charging columns of electric cars with variation in the intensity of the charging current based on the simulated parameters of the exchange of energy. Interface with the temperature control systems of the University of Brescia.

ViPOC

Funded Project, Big Data

Project financed with the aim of monitoring and forecasting the energy production of photovoltaic parks.

The project involved the use of Big Data technologies.

Personal eMonitors

Health Monitoring

Realization of the software components of a mobile platform for the acquisition of the vital parameters of the person, the analysis and processing of medical data. Its components are completely wireless and can be scaled and customized according to the patient's needs.
The smart patch created in partnership is an innovative prototype of an easily wearable smart patch, wirelessly connected to a portable hub. The vital parameters collected by the patient through the devices can be monitored in real time by the operators of a health center, while the alarms can be calibrated for each individual through algorithms that are easily applicable via the web platform of the health center.
This project was developed for the specific case of subjects with coronary artery disease, arrhythmia and for patients undergoing invasive cardiac surgery, but can be adapted for remote monitoring of other pathologies.
